Will your gift giving-gift packaging be different; more eco friendly?
Gift wrap, ribbons, boxes, bags, gift tags..........
the total tonnage of paper waste during the holidays is staggering.

Will you be part of the problem or part of the solution?
Vegan holidays- (some idea's here)

Offset holiday travel emissions.

How will this holiday season be different for you and your family? What sustainable
changes will you make?

Hi SP
Your holiday season includes celebrations that we we don't have in UK.
Somewhat related,
Mrs B are taking a week in Cornwall, the south west part of UK mainland.
We drove there. Lower emissions than driving to an airport and flying to an flying to a much more distant overseas location.
We hired a cottage for a week.
Obviously we will produce some waste.
The cottage has pretty much the same recycling bins that we have at home.
Waste that can get recycled gets recycled.
Plus, water from the roof gets collected for watering the very interesting garde.
Solar lights illuminate the garden which is on several levels.both above and below the cottage.
Pretty place, and with attention to the environment.
Most places to visit are either within a short walk or less than 10 minutes drive
Minimal use of fuel.

I give my wife the same thing every Christmas for 40 years and
. . . I am the one, that is always surprised, with what Her gift is.

Consider buying poultry from independent farms instead of factory farms. Often, they are raised without
chemicals (organic) and live free range.

Perhaps you'll look at those twinkling lights and wonder if they have lead in them? You would be correct.
Lead is applied to the pvc plastic to keep it from cracking. It may also contain flame retardant chemicals.
(Does it ever end?)
