Ran across this article in Treehugger and it's beg's the question; how much of your home
do you actually use/live in?
My house, for example, is smallish; 1200 sq. ft. but I only use about half. One bedroom
goes unused (except for the large walk-in closet.)

So how much of your home do you use?

We are retired (empty nester)
. . . from a 2 floor Cape . . . stairs & large country kitchen . . . on a 1/2 acre,
. . . to a 960 sq. ft. Ranch . . . no more stairs, tiny efficiency kitchen & backyard deck . . . on an acre of land.
. . . (less work indoors, more enjoyment outdoors)

We use 1/3  of the house during the daytime, (living room & Kitchen),
. . . a 1/3  of the house during the nighttime, (bed & bathrooms),
. . . a 1/3 of the house for storage, (we had an in home business).

So, that comes out to, 640 sq. ft.
. . . (close to what you are using)
