More cities are realizing that bikes are the future.
Healthier workers are more productive. For us, we strengthen our muscles, heart and lungs.

Retail sales increase. (When we're driving past shops at 30 mph, we won't stop to browse)
On a bike, we may.

Neighborhoods become more desirable as the traffic slows. Biking and walking
brings communities together.

Recruiting younger, fitter employees helps companies bottom lines with more
productivity.

Reducing health care costs too.

Guardian article-

"Bicycle infrastructure is something we use to create wealth for our cities.
It's something that helps us do all the other things our civilization needs."

Completely agree.
I used to cycle quite a lot until injuries and a relocation made it impractical.
Car drivers, at least some of them, appear to have goggles that filter out cyclists.
