Don't have any place to grow plants,
. . . try a wall garden made with soda bottles.

Container gardening is a great solution to the space problem for many folks living in apartments. You can
have fresh herbs growing on an inside window sill too.

My grandfather passed away a month ago and while visiting with family back home during the funeral it became aparent to me that he lost the drive to keep going about the same time he had to give up working in his garden this year.  I then realized that I have always had a garden every year as a child, and now I'm continuing that with my children. Reminds me of Candide, where he finally realizes that happiness is tending to his garden with his friends and family.

My point is go garden, be happy, while you can.

P.S. Good to see my old treehugger friends stil holding the fort.

Welcome back, it's good to hear from you again.
. . . I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
My wife had 10 in her family, I had 8 in mine and
. . . we were the youngest, so
We have a tradition of planting flowers, bush or tree
. . . scattered around our property, in memory of loved ones.
We get old bricks, from the recycle center and
. . . create borders around the plants,
. . . collect rain water off the roof in barrels and
. . . go around to water them and remember.

Everyone can have a garden. I must say everybody should have at their home. Garden not only help to save nature but also help to give a new look to your home and also fresh oxygen to you.

You can also read this post published by me on how gardening can help to save environment.

(page does not exist)

You will have a better idea here on why it is necessary.

And of course, windowsill gardens for herbs. But other things can be grown too if the area is large enough.

Organic farming is so much harder than just getting stoned and picking tomatoes

{$%^&&^%$$##$&*^()(^^$!@  It is?}

"Arlo Crawford’s memoir, A Farm Dies Once a Year, is an inside look at one of the iconic organic farms that sprang up in the 1970s, Pennsylvania’s New Morning Farm. I spoke with Crawford about his unique perspective: He grew up in the middle of the back-to-the-land movement"
