Could this African fruit be replicated to deflect the light we are losing from melting snow/ice?
This article has nothing to do with that notion, but it struck me; they're always trying
to find ways to slow the effects of warming.
It will probably never happen, and never even be considered but the studies
noted in the piece did say it reflects 30% more light than a mirror.
Giant arrays installed in the Arctic to deflect light?
Just a thought.
What do you think? Complete silliness?

Meaning it only reflects 30% of light and absorbs 70%. Items get their color by reflecting it while absorbing others. In this berry, blue is reflected and the rest is absorbed.

Thanks. I appreciate it.
If we don't ask questions (no matter how dumb) we don't get answers.

When you are scientist, no question is dumb. Thinking outsid the box is the essence of science, as is skepticism. Always asking, always questioning is how technology moves forward so feel free to continue "what if"!
