[Shortpoet-GTD]

In cities and towns across America, local's are joining together and essentially thumbing their
nose at utility companies.
Embracing solar, wind, thermal; people in places like Chicago, Boulder, L.A., Cape Cod
are coming up with ways to have their own power or even claiming "eminent domain"
to take over transmission lines.
