Murray puts 160 people out of work, and then has the nerve to read them a "prayer"
and quote bible verses?

They have no idea what the words in that book mean; especially the part about the
"least of these".
Why are they so insistent of kicking people when they're down and then quoting the
bible? It's insulting.

And you know the gop will spin it as; they lost their coal jobs because of Obama.

"Mitt Romneylast month attacked President Obama's environmental and economic policies
by running an ad featuring dozens of coal workers who, as the world now knows,
were
unpaid for their appearance,
but forced to appear in the ad and lost a day’s pay for the privilege of doing so.
On Wednesday,
the day after Barack Obama won re-election,
and because Barack Obama won re-election, coal magnate Bob Murray gathered some of his employees together, read them a prayer,
and then fired them."

I find these actions to be immature and premature.  These idiots are laying people off based on something that may or may not happen sometime in the near or distant future.

For instance, those that are complaining about Obamacare are being completely dishonest.  Obamacare has not cost them any money as yet because the state run co-ops do not go into affect until 2014.  Many small business owners will not be affected because there is a minimum of employees you must have before those regulations kick in.  For those it does affect, I suspect this is going to give them more options.  They either must give their employees insurance or pay the penalty.  For some, the penalty will be a cheaper option than providing insurance.  For others who already provide insurance to their employees, they may have cheaper options available to them through the co-op.

What I don't get is that they never compare the cost of providing insurance to the cost of lost work hours because people are ill, can't work, and can't see a doctor.

The Papa Johns guy is laughable.  He says it will add 16 cents to his pizzas.  Whoop de doo.  If his pizzas are that good, then customers probably won't notice the extra 16 cents.

These people are reactionary.  I am sure there have been people like them throughout our history who we've had to drag along kicking and screaming.
