The Turkish government's annual $65 billion energy bill on imported oil and gas,
. . . is the biggest reason Turkey has such a high current account deficit (CAD).
It has made Turkey extremely vulnerable,
. . . because of the volatility and violence, that are regularly hitting its main suppliers.
Also, Climate impacts are not something that may happen to future generations;
. . . they affect people's lives today.
In Turkey, a car traveling 500 kilometers costs,
. . . TL 200 of gasoline, VS
. . . TL 7.5 of electricity.
