Puerto Rico needs to protect:
. . . . . . drinking water, and wastewater treatment,
. . . . . . fuel transport and storage,
. . . . . . electricity generation,
. . . . . . electric grids,
. . . . . . pursue measures to improve energy efficiency and
. . . . . . better manage loads,
. . . but, it will takes many months to do that under the old system.
Most of all, Puerto Rico needs energy ‘much quicker,’and
. . . solar power, combined with adequate electricity storage systems,
. . . strikes many as a good place to start.
Start dividing Puerto Rico into different regions, and
. . . then start developing microgrids.
.. . That’s not going to solve the problem,
. . . but, it’s certainly going to start
. . . dynamically energising Puerto Rico much quicker.
