Earth Day Revisited.

Earth Day everyday. Earth Hour starts the ball rolling, and then Earth Day comes into focus. People jump on the bandwagon and start asking-"Hey, why aren't you doing X, Y or Z?"
Businesses run "greenwash" ads telling us how sustainable and natural their products are, and how wonderful it is to use their services. As consumers, we have to stay vigilant and separate the lies from the truth.

Are they transparent in their ingredients list? Are their processing methods really green? Where do they get their power from? How much water is used to make that product? Are they building their products overseas and shipping it back to America or is it built here in the states?

Some actually do change their operations and move towards sustainable practices 24/7 -365 days a year.

It's encouraging to see people embracing the concept of a cleaner planet-less polluted air, cleaner water but it often fades quickly within a week or two after the "day".

Members in our community at AES strive to live sustainable lives every day, and not just some date designated on a calender.

Won't you join us in living a sustainable lifestyle everyday and not just one day a year?

We're here to make a difference and not just pay "lip service" to the most important issue we face on our Earth.
