An iceberg the size of Delaware, is starting to break away from Antarctica.
. . . It began with a small crack, but has now grown to:

. . . . . . 300 feet wide, and
. . . . . . 1/3 mile deep.
When it reaches the edges of the ice sheet,
. . . the state-sized chunk will drift away into the sea.
