Very interesting report. On a wide scale basis, the benefit is miniscule, but if families want to save money on air conditioning costs, it would seem to be a good idea to paint the roof white. At least there is a saving in that respect.

Oh man! Just when I was going to try to convince my building manager to paint the roof here white. It gets powerful hot here in the summer, so I admit I was also thinking of numero uno. I would try to convince him to go for solar panels, but that's probably out of the question.
