SpaceX, wants

. . .100 or more launches with intermittent maintenance.

By using Pyron, or
. . . a similar internally-developed material,
. . . sensitive Falcon components may be almost totally insulated from,
. . . temperatures as high as 2300 °F (1200 °C)

By using itanium grid fins, instead of
. . . aluminum grid fins, and
. . . inconel, heat shiding,
. . . may make lowering the cost of launch by,
. . . nearly an order of magnitude.
