If the USA,
. . . built Gigantic Wind Farms,
. . . in the North Atlantic,
. . . they could power,
. . . all of humanity.

International Renewable Energy Agency (IREA),
. . . projects that the cost of batteries,
. . . for stationary energy storage systems,
. . . could drop by as much as 2/3's  by 2030, and
. . . if the global share of renewables doubles by 2030,
. . . energy storage capacity could triple.

But, According to IRENA,
. . . the Cost to Store renewable energy is:
. . . 15 cents per kWh in lithium-ion batteries, or
. . . 1/6th of a cent per kWh in  pumped hydro, and
. . . 96% of global storage capacity consists of
. . . pumped hydro.
