Have you heard about these things? From what I've read they are solar and actually remove carbon from the atmosphere like real trees. They are really cool looking to and can replace city lights. We need to see more of these, I would love to see them pop up in my town!

But these things need to be made? which means they're ganna need to go through a process which will no doubt contain some sort of factory that releases CO2 , is it really worth it ?

This looks cool reminds are inspired by Avatar?
Anyway, why don't we just plant more trees I think that'll be a lot easier and efficient. But then, if you come to think of it us humans are growing in number by the minute and there will come a time that the open spaces we have right now will be occupied to build new homes. This is an innovative solution I guess.

I've heard about these, in fact I think this is a great idea. Yes, if it ends up becoming factory made more CO2 will be going into the air, but you got to also think these things constantly will be helping with CO2 levels bringing them down. It might be a sacrifice, but I personally think it's a sacrifice for the greater good in the long run.
This also reminds of this solar panel that was created by a 16 year old. He had it branched out like a tree, and the amount of energy it captured greatly exceeded normal solar panels. It was quite the story, especially for someone so young to come up with something so brilliant.

Wow. These are awesome! And they are made of entirely recycled materials. Very cool. This is the sort of thing that makes me hope I'm still around in 50 to 100 years. The world will look so different and hopefully be in a less polluted state by then.

If they help clean out more CO2 than manufacturing them puts in, I think so. As unfortunate as this may sound, there's kind of no way to win. Anything we do is going to produce some waste; it's what we do with the waste that's important. I recycle, but the actual recycling process uses power, both to take the recycling to the plant and then to run the machines to recycle the material. Does that mean recycling's bad? (No; I'm just using a really small example.)
If manufacturing these expels CO2, but each tree cleans out the air at least twice as much, it's a small price. It's like solar panels -- making those means some waste at first, but then you save in the long run.

That's absolutely beautiful. You say they remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere?? Wow. That's amazing.

The color scheme of the trees in that picture is lovely. I'd love to see those around. Then again, I can stare at Christmas lights for hours (while completely sober), so I may be biased toward shiny things. :-)

Fantastic idea. Quite modernistic in design. If this reduces some of the carbon dioxide, that would be great. I hope the idea spreads to other cities and towns. People come up with amazing inventions. This is one that is impressive, pleasing to the eye and very functional. Thank you for the report.

I have never heard of them, but the concept is amazing. I do hope they aren't planning on taking real trees out just to make room for these though. I like the idea it is functional 24/7, which is better than some "energy saving" inventions. I do have to admit, in the pictures it is definitely nicer at night...must be the brightness of it (kind of goes along with the "Christmas lights" comment above).
