[still learning]

Two California counties and a smallish California city have filed lawsuits against a bunch of fossil fuel companies for damages related to climate change.  Included among the defendants are large oil and coal producers, both domestic and European.

San Mateo County, just south of San Francisco, is where I call home, and while Marin is not far away (just north of SF), Imperial Beach is far to the south, against the Mexican border.
