Follow the Money,
  High operating, and maintenance costs,
. . . used to be the reason, for closing,
. . . small, old, Coal plants.
Now, it's the reason, for closing,
. . . big, young, Coal plants,
. . . 3 decades earlier than anticipated.

In Florida, Jacksonville Electric Authority's
. . . St. Johns River Power Park opened in 1987, it ran
. . . 71% of the time in 2011,
. . . 51% in 2015.
The 1,252-MW facility, will close in 2018.

In Ohio, Dayton Power & Light Co. (DP&L) recently decided to close,
. . . after years of battling unplanned outages, it ran
. . . 48% in 2015,
. . . 54% in 2016.
While the problems there were as much operational, as they were economic,
. . . the result was the same.
The 2,318-MW facility, will close in 2018, as will DP&L's nearby Killen Station.

It's Not because of "Climate Change."
. . . it's all about, High operating, and maintenance costs,
That is also effecting "Nuclear plants."

"Oh happy day"
Can't get black lung disease from #Solar
Kids don't get asthma from it.
It doesn't add carbon causing climate change.
It's cheaper now than coal.
No coal sludge to pollute waterways.
Mountaintops don't need to be leveled for it.
It won't melt ice packs=rising oceans.
But our current "administration" thinks it's needed and should be supported.
Traitor trump will be impeached.
Take it to the bank.
