Excerpts from a recent National Geographic op-ed.

"Covering our climate; where we keep setting records for the hottest year;
is one of the most important things we can do."

(They have run 34 stories on climate change in general and numerous
articles on specific locations on the globe)

"At National Geographic we proudly non-partisan. But there are a few matters on which we
do take sides.
We are on the side of facts.
We are on the side of science.
We are on the side of the planet.

Those who deny climate change receive a lot of attention, but the vast majority of Americans
acknowledge the reality of the problem."

(The folks at Altenergyshift.com agree 100% and try with every post to acknowledge that fact.)

Entire op-ed available via National Geographic magazine.
