Sunlight,
. . . the natural source of our bodies Circadian Rhythms,
. . . which in turn, helps to improve our:
. . . . . . Energy,
. . . . . . Productivity,
. . . . . . Mental Acuity,
. . . . . . Sleep quality, and
. . . . . . Mood Fluctuations, throughout the day.

Sunlight,
. . . Instead of focusing on the production of massive amounts of energy,
. . . the home focuses on demanding a minimum amount of energy to function normally.
To achieve this,
. . . the outer layer,
. . . consists of photovoltaic panels,
. . . on the roof and sides, that both generate electricity, and
. . . provides protection from the heat of the sun,
while the inner layer's,
. . . flat roof consists of multiple layers that yield insulation, giving
. . . 10 times better in comparison to an equal thickness layer of polysterole insulation, and
. . . floor to ceiling windows, flooding the home with light.

Lose the shutters & I'm in. That last pick was too claustrophobic for me; too narrow. But thanks for post.

This as a kitchen for instance (drooling)

You have the right idea,
. . . Sunlight makes you feel better.

The narrow space pictured, wasn't the inside of the house,
. . . It's a wrap-around-porch
. . . Inner wall = floor-to-ceiling Glass windows, and
. . . Outer wall = adjustable Solar shutters, that keeps the home:
. . . . . . Warm in Winter,
. . . . . . Cool in summer, and provides
. . . . . . Electric Power (with additional solar panels on the roof).

The ubiquitous screens:
. . . . . . in our pockets,
. . . . . . on our laps,
. . . . . . on our desks, and
. . . . . . in our entertainment centers, coupled with the
. . . . . . near-constant onslaught of artificial lights at all hours of the day,
. . . can wreak havoc with our sleep cycles, which in turn can affect our:
. . . . . . productivity,
. . . . . . performance, and
. . . . . . moods.

Reset your sleep cycle,
. . . with a weekend camping trip, full of
. . . "Natural Light, and True Darkness,"
. . . can quickly recalibrate your
. . . "Circadian Rhythm," which may improve:
. . . . . . Sleep Cycles,
. . . . . . Energy Levels, and
. . . . . . Seasonal Depression.
