The key to micro-living,
. . . is multi-functionality.

“In Japan, there is a culture to find beauty in plain design.”
. . . A tiny kitchen, that saves you space, and
. . . with doors, that preserve an uncluttered aesthetic apartment.
It’s an economical use of space,
. . . but mostly, it’s just beautiful.

Micro-unit housing is certainly not for everyone.Micro-units probably provide inadequate space for raising children.

Children spend less time outside,
. . . than prison inmates.

But what about the grownups?
. . . A 2010 study found that getting outside for a bit of:
. . . . . . Exercise,
. . . . . . Fresh air, and
. . . . . . Nature ,was important,
. . . even if it was as little as 5 minutes:

Every green environment,
. . . improved both self-esteem and mood;
. . . the presence of water,
. . . generated even greater effects.
Both men and women had similar improvements in
. . . self-esteem after green exercise,
. . . though men showed a difference for mood.
