Heatwaves, in Iraq and India in recent weeks, of more than,
. . . 122 degrees Fahrenheit (50C),
. . . are yet further indications that climate disruption is a present-day reality,
. . . not something for the future that the world can respond to at leisure.

And now NASA has revealed that July 2016 was the
. . . hottest month EVER!

There are folks taking advantage of the warming though.  There is a cruise ship that is taking the "Northwest Passage" from Anchorage to New York, sailed a few days ago.  See http://www.crystalcr...passage-cruise.

The supposed Northwest Passage was sought after by mariners like Henry Hudson in the "Age of Exploration" as a way of sailing from Europe to China.  First actually sailed in the early 20th century by Amundson (the south pole guy) but took over two years to do so.  See https://en.wikipedia...rthwest_Passage

Global warming is changing things.

Yep-
Polar ice melting at faster rates; species extinction, coral reef bleaching/dying, air pollution is getting worse, floods
killing more & more, landfills overflowing from all the hurricane/tornado/flood debris.
Yeah, it's great.

Unforeseen and unanticipated risks are becoming more frequent, less predictable, and are having a greater impact on more people at one time.
