Solar power produces neither local air pollutants nor heat-trapping gases.

Solar module costs have fallen roughly 80% since 2007.

Solar and wind power exceeds 50% of the energy fed into electric grids in:
. . . . . . Texas,
. . . . . . Colorado, and
. . . . . . Elsewhere.

The U.S. solar industry now employs more than 200,000 workers,
. . . roughly 3 times as many as the coal mining industry.

According to SEIA it took 40 years to get to one million installations,
. . . but it will take just 2 years to get to 2 million.
