Looking at the latest "blue marble" photo from NASA/NOAA's DSCOVR:EPIC satellite, the one that's out at the Lagrange 1 location, there's an almost complete cloud streak east-west across the equatorial Pacific. Maybe that streak is there a lot and I've never noticed, but is it possibly an El Nino effect?

What I see more than anything is the greyness that has taken over.
We have been the "blue marble" in the cosmos for decades but that's fading away
as air pollution takes over.
I don't understand why people don't realize that we're unique in the galaxy. Earth is a treasure;
a phenomenon in the history of the universe.
And yet we treat it like toilet paper; an every day object to be soiled on and tossed aside.
