Africa is in dire need of green education.  Please read and share my experience and maybe even contribute to my push for sustainability in Africa (it's actually a really cool story).

You don't need $6,000.- to get a green education,
. . . you have all the information you need on the internet,
. . . right at your fingertips.
All you have to do is SEARCH for it.

Example:  right on this site you can find ways to:
. . . Recycle, Reuse, Repurpose, plastic bottles,
. . . into a garden that take up little or no space.
. . . Just go Here.

I think what she means is educating and spreading awareness in her home country... which DOES require money.
However there are other ways to spread the awarness. Vegan lifestyle isn't widely accepted in my home country, so I used to ask theingredients used in the menu and not receive non-vegetarian menu's at school. And, recently, they started making notes of the inredients on the school board. Small changes lead to big ones, you know.

Poster didn't say what part of Africa; maybe impoverished; maybe able to afford some things.
That said; lead by example.
Start a recycling program at school or get community leaders involved.
Plant trees.
Clean up polluted waterways with a group removing trash & debris.
And as Ed suggested, check out our numerous threads for other ideas.

Good point! Yes, poster may be talking about some countries wealthy enough to afford some education, or campaigns.

Education and awareness is the key, especially in places where one way of thinking has been engrained for decades.

I am attempting the same type of effort in my home island of Guanaja.

Tell me about it; our republican congress (and many other republican run cities/states) have
"Old ways of thinking ingrained for decades" tattooed on their bodies (in case they forget that it's not 1950).
Future starts with the letter F and they don't like words that start with the letter F.
