and by we, I mean environmentalists, greenies, treehuggers............
whatever you want to call us people that care about
our one and only planet, and the life she gives us with clean air, water and soil.

Honestly, I had to wait a day to post this because I was so angry yesterday; I couldn't
see straight.

But we CANNOT allow their win to set us back off our mission.
We cannot allow them to role back regulations that keep out air and water clean;
which mcconnell is already boasting about.

We cannot sit idly by.
Not enough young people were involved enough to get out to vote. And we took it
on the chin.
But we cannot allow one knock down fight keep us down.

We care about our health. We care about the health of the planet we call home.
We care about the future residents of this planet; humans and animals.
We want them to have the same (or better) quality of life; the clean air and water
we enjoy now.

Is it a loooooooooooong fight? You bet. Will we win? We have to but regardless,
we cannot stop fighting.

We cannot allow the likes of the koch brothers and their minions bring more oil and
gas pipelines like keystone into our lives; polluting even more waterways.

We cannot allow them to role back the regulations on protections.

They're trying to stop us in every way they know how but
we
CANNOT allow it.

Sign me battered and bruised but I'm still fighting. :vava:
I hope you'll join me in this continuing fight to keep our planet a decent, clean place to
live and thrive; and not just exist.

"Humans must act swiftly and boldly to cut carbon emissions to prevent widespread
harm from rising global temperatures."

But is boyce listening? Nope. In fact, he's beating the "cheap and abundant" coal drum even harder.

James Inhofe may be the chair for the Environment and Public Works committee; a man that has
called global warming a hoax and has compared the EPA to the Gestapo.

We will not be in good hands.

Funding for environmental protections may also be cut, so even if the EPA still exists they won't be able to do much.

Another article on the worries. ted cruz will chair the subcommittee on Science and Space.

From the piece-
"This level of obstructionism — and an utter lack of desire to cooperate on solutions —
goes beyond the pale, in my opinion.
Why does the GOP take such a hard line on this?
At least partially because they are so well supported by oil and gas money, led by the Koch brothers."

Maybe small but we should still acknowledge this win on carbon trading.
