A fairly large one hit California Sunday, 8/25/2014.
For those interested, this is a data site that is constantly updated showing earthquake
activity worldwide.

Yes, good to know you and your family are okay.  Earthquakes are nerve-wracking, and the after shocks are the most annoying and scary ones.

It's awesome that you're okay and that were waken up soon enough to check if everything was alright. At least you'd have time to react accordingly.
