Northwest Interagency Coordination Center in downtown Portland,
. . . wildfire agency leaders briefed Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore.,
. . . on what's quickly becoming a historically bad fire season.

Data at the briefing showed wildfires are burning hotter and
. . . fire seasons are now 70 days longer than they were just 15 years ago.

216 wildfires just last week alone.......
so far this season; 32,000 fires (1.6 million acres) costing us millions of $$.
Crews on the ground call it "the front line of climate change" made more intense because of the historic drought.
