. . . to recharge the lamp during the day,
. . . giving 4 hours of bright light and 8 hours of night light.
He saw Families spend $5 USD a week,
. . . for kerosene to fill a smoky lamp.
If a family can save on cooking fuel using the CooKit,
. . . then they will have enough money to be able to buy the new lamp, and
. . . further reduce their kerosene usage.
Money is saved, and indoor air pollution is reduced.
