The link below lists her accomplishments and failures but I would like to know your thoughts.
Who would be a good replacement; can the new head of the EPA do much more
considering the NO syndrome prevalent in congress; should the EPA be given
more powers to act?

You know people just don't understand the politics faced by a head of the EPA, Lisa Jackson helped decrease mercury from power plants, tried to clean up coal, worked for stronger air and water and basically clean up Americans corporations pollution, for that she is vilified, accused of trying to destroy America's economy and destroy jobs, balderdash, CEOs are making more money then ever, corporations are rolling in money and so on and so on, Jackson was given an impossible job and she did the best she could in this political environment, god help however gets nominated next. In my humble opinion until we can agree that the earth is more important then profits the EPA will always face an up hill battle.
God knows if I had the job I would make a lot of people really mad by exposing the special interest polluters and who they are funding in Congress, rule # 3 always follow the money.

There's no money for it (and they'd probably be sued) but it would be nice to see "campaign" type ads-listing
the companies that fought her through contributions to the members-R's and D's; for dirtier air, water, soil.
I know the oil companies would be on the list along with monsanto; and of course the koch brothers.
