I was reading various crafty articles online and thought this idea for making your own eco friendly wedding favors was kind of cute. I don't think people really keep some of the wedding favors they receive, but maybe they might if they were cute mini herb gardens.

I usually toss/recycle the little wedding favors (esp the tacky ones) so this idea is splendid! I might even use these as party favors for my mother's upcoming 50th. Thanks for posting!

This is a great idea you are sharing and they really look adorable. Herbs are great and something to use and bring beauty to a space. I will definitely be trying this one out. It is actually a great thought , addressing wedding favors, because so much money is spent for weddings and the many papers and things just get tossed away. This would be some major saving.

I like the candles and the whimsical wedding spoons. They can be bought in packs of 5 or 6 in dollar stores, and it would be great fun dressing them up with either paint or fabric. There's also a link to a 'recycled wedding' story, so it's a very useful link. Thanks for the share.

The more useful a wedding or party favour is the less likely it will end up in a landfill. So these are really smart ideas!

I hope that more and more people will turn to thinking about the usefulness of a party favour when they are designing they party. And the more you can reuse or recycle the better!
