Bob Brown now ex senator has been given The Australian Geographic Society's Lifetime of Conservation award. He has been at the front of environmental issues and battles for 40 years and is well respected by all environmentalist and to a lesser degree those opposed to him. His manner and integrity has won over where direct confrontation has sometime gone awry.

Reading more about it makes me also think that he is a really nice person and deserving of such appreciation. Hope more politicians and servants of the people as well as "we" could at least contribute for our mother earth which is also for all of us specially for the future generation.
