The weird thing about this summer in Florida is that it's so hot that it continues to be hot at night when there is no sun. You can go out at 8PM and step on dirt and concrete that are still hot ,like a pizza stone after you take it out of the oven. It's like the ground has been baking all day and doesn't completely cool off until 9PM.
Florida heat, the gift that keeps on giving.
Florida heat, the gift that keeps on giving.
It used to get into the 90's in the summer, but nighttime temps would go down to 60's fairly quickly.
The past several years, we've had several days in a row, or even weeks at a time with triple digit heat and
it stays hot til well after midnight.
I've seen the difference in just the years since I've had this house (1993) from the heat. I was always doing
some sort of project outside, well into the summer back then.
In recent years?
I might trim the weeds down a bit with my rechargeable weed eater and that's about it.
That's why I don't understand the deniers.
I've seen it change that quickly-why don't they?
