We have beetroot coming out of our ears not literally, more from our garden at the moment. I heard you can use them in a crumble. You use equal amounts of apple and fresh grated beetroot, nutmeg and honey for the filling.
Has anyone an organic crumble recipe that does not use butter with the flour mixture? I believe 250 grams of butter is not uncommon for this sort of pastry and we don't eat butter.
