Maybe by next year the only gasoline you will have top buy will be for your lawn mower! No I am not on drugs nor dreaming. Some very clever inventors figured out how to capture the same plasma energy we see every day in lightning bolts, solar flare eruptions and the Northern Lights and packaged it in a nuclear battery that never needs a recharge. Yes, I said the "N" word but this is safe green Thorium that has the same radiation level as a cell phone. How does it work? How should I know - I'm no rocket sicientist but this link can explain better than me

The zimbio article, dated January 2011, includes: " he is not even allowed to tell us his real name or anything about the incredible plasma battery that took him almost 12 years to develop. This green energy device (which we learned on our own), operates on radiated isotopes and magnets, puts out a steady and constant charge of AC or DC current for 5 to 7 years,"
Plasma battery? Radiated isotopes and magnets huh? Gobbledegook. To me, none of the rest of the article is at all convincing.
Baloney in my opinion.
From Wikipedia "Zimbio publishes a.....Zimbio.com in the entertainment news category and StyleBistro.com in the fashion and beauty category....."
What you've linked to is a hoax. It's baloney. Contains some of the usaual conspiracy theorist stuff.

Yeah, I don't think this is a trusted source either. I know a friend who was working on hyrdrogen cells and all for years and said they made some impressive breakthroughs, but they just had problems with making it affordable for consumers. I'm waiting on that before some other plasma battery.

Problem with plasma batteries and other great invents and developments is that sometimes are just laboratory specimens that never see the light.
Even if they would be available, the cost would put it out of reach until price drops overtime.

I'd say WOW. I only knew of Lithium to serve the longest in terms of battery life. Until the author comes out in the open, then I would believe in it. What is there to hide? If its true and is perfectly working, then the more that he should come out in the open so he could gain financial support from various green movements and foundations so he can further the research. Duuuuh! This might be another hoax.

I just remember the movie "Day and Knight", where the basic plot of the movie is based on a small battery which can power-up a small city. Maybe, today it is still a science fiction, but we never know in the near future that it might actually work.
