I am sorry, "if the disagreeers agree". Agree with what, that their names are in lights? "Then it's not consistent disagreement to them". Who said we have to give them comfort? They should receive a little abuse as well. You don't encourage arsonists to continue to set their fires. Cheers.

Except that arson is illegal; a differentiating opinion is not...

I'd say you blasting people is inappropriate behavior. If you want to strongly disagree, feel free, but don't go into outright attacks. (Clearly, spammers or anything that comes under clearly defined hate speech are obvious exceptions, but that's banhammer moderator territory.)

You mentioned people who consistently disagree with everything being ousted. I'm saying that there are those who consistently speak against issues they disagree with -- that doesn't make them out of line. As new threads come up, they might be saying the same ol' things. Certain issues -- I'll say solar and wind power -- are going to have more naysayers. That doesn't make those detractor opinions trolling,

No, no, no please read what I said, ousted and outed are two different words, two different meanings. I said nothing about blasting any one. Do not distort what I wrote. I did not even know the crazies were on here. I was informed that they have been at the stuff, for years, it is not a different opinion from what I have read, they may be paid or not. You stand up for them, so be it. I don't, it is a method of causing confusion and trying to disrupt things. I find that ridiculous. You obviously don't. I am not an enabler. So I am where I am. The moderators don't like it and neither do I.

Ousted or outed -- I'm still opposed to it (save cases of clear abuse).

It depends on the poster. Sometimes people get blasted just for stating a detracting opinion.

Although I am new to AltEnergyShift (and very happy to be here) I am not new to environmental politics. We are currently engaged in a battle against open pit iron mining in northern Wisconsin. Some powerful players are against those of us who wish to preserve Lake Superior and the rights of the Ojibwa Indians. You may have heard of our heavy handed governor who wants this mine. Those we oppose play upon right wing prejudices and there are trolls aplenty out there who destroy our signage, disrupt our demonstrations, and who advocate openly for the destruction of Indian casinos and the character asassination of environmentalists. These people will always be there, and there are always among them persons who are sick, twisted paid disruptors. I find it best to talk about them openly as the powerless puppets of their masters that they are. Pity them.
