I just found out about this cool solar bonsai tree that charges up your gadgets. It's called the Electree and I saw that they had sold some as a pre-sale, but don't know where to find it. Has anyone else heard of something similar?

At first I thought this was a real bonsai live tree! This is a really nice idea, I wish I had the money to get it myself. I have not seen anything similar to it anywhere else. It looks like you can order it from them directly here: http://www.mister-ec...3_266-1235.html

That's pretty innovative. It looks decorative as well. You could have it sitting up on a shelf without it looking like more junk.
I was curious how it works. It looks like you charge it in the sun for 36 hours. Then, you can hook up your devices. I suppose you could have it sitting by a window when not in use.

Yeah, it does look like a bonsai! It's quite pretty and festive. I would probably kill a bonsai because I'm always out and about. I would love to prop this up in my sun room and just have a cool charging station.

I also first thought it was pertaining to a real bonsai.
That electree looks really nice and can be a great decor near the window. It could be another fashion/style statement for homes in the future. Makes it cheaper and lot would grab it.

I'm in love! Aesthetically it's very cool. I also love that you can bend and move the "leaves" around into different configurations AND that it can be used inside in front of a window. What an ideal little gadget. I hope it gets big.

How quaint and different. In viewing the video, they did say that it can be ordered at uIule.com. Hopefully they still have some available. Great idea. Good luck.

Pretty cool looking thing, are there any not so cool looking things I could use to charge up my phone and whatnots?
Now the sun is picking up it would be nice to save a few £ on power :)

What a cool innovation. What will happen if I charge the gadget at the same time using all 27 panels? All 27 gizmos batteries will be fully charged?

That thing is beautiful. I love when aesthetic beauty and functionality come together. I wish all my electronic appliances looked like things from nature instead of artifacts from outer space.
